The "Cushion Form Engraved" was introduced in the spring of 1926, first with the 986A, and then followed later that year with the new 987 movement. This example is in excellent condition with just light overall wear. Caseback is excellent with an extremely well done engraving. Case measures 35mm long and 27mm wide. AGN dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 987a manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
This is from a special run of 18 watches in 1946 presumably to use up old cases. I can tell this is one of those by A. the engraving and B. the custom milled 987a movement.
