Housed in a stainless steel case, the Regulus features Hamilton's unmistakable asymmetrical "D"-shaped design, blending a rounded profile on one side with a squared edge on the other. The watch is fitted with a beautifully preserved original dial that perfectly complements its bold mid-century styling. The case measures approximately 30mm wide by 40mm from lug tip to lug tip and has been fitted with a new crystal. Powering the watch is the adjusted Hamilton 500 electric movement, equipped with a fresh battery and tested to keep excellent time over a 24-hour period. The movement operates as intended, with smooth crown operation and a fully functional hacking feature that stops the seconds hand when the crown is pulled or depressed. Originally marketed as a waterproof model, this watch should now be treated as non-water-resistant due to the age of its seals and gaskets.
