This is the rarest version of the “Raleigh Engraved” and has a special pattern engraved on the beze (I believe this style is called “leaf”) The unusual enamel black numeral dial is gorgeous. Only 1999 examples of the engraved "Raleigh" were produced in green. I have seen many more with the tradition “keystone” bezel engraving vs. this one. This example is in excellent condition with only a very small amount brassing to the bezel corners and only the second I’ve seen with this bezel. The caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 39mm long and 29mm wide. Original dial is excellent. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 987-F manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong. Hamilton band and buckle are later than watch but in good condition and a nice addition. Comes with original box.
